LAUREL and HARDY in HULL

Laurel and Hardy played in HULL on two tours. The first was in 1947 at the New Theatre.
They stayed at the Royal Station Hotel, Ferensway, Hull.
The second occasion was 1953 when, this time, they appeared at the Palace Theatre.
Hull has the distinction of being the very last piece of British soil that Stan and Babe trod,
as they sailed from there in 1954.
