LAUREL and HARDY in BRIGHTON

Laurel and Hardy came to Brighton twice, on their British UK Tours -
three times if one counts an afternoon visit to Max Miller's house.

Stan and Ollie first appeared at the Hippodrome Theatre, Middle Street, Brighton, in 1952.
Stan and Ollie returned in 1954. In 1952 they stayed at the Grand Hotel, Kings Road, Brighton.
It's makes me happy to report that, against all odds, both venues are intact.
